Grand Rapids’ love for its parks was on full display during the recent “Love Your Parks: A Night Out with Friends” event, hosted by Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, and Planned & Coordinated by By Phalesha Events . Held at the scenic Richmond Park, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this lively evening brought together community members, park supporters, and outdoor enthusiasts to celebrate and support the city’s cherished green spaces outdoors, despite the winter weather. Alpine Events was proud to play a pivotal role in making the event an unforgettable experience by providing top-tier event & party rentals tailored to the Kent County, Michigan occasion.
Setting the Stage for a Memorable Evening
Alpine Events ensured that the venue was not only functional but also radiated elegance and comfort. The centerpiece of the evening was a grand 40′ x 60′ Navitrac Gable End tent rental, expertly installed to provide shelter and ambiance. Complete with sidewalls and market lighting, the tent created a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for an evening of socializing and entertainment.

Understanding the importance of comfort, Alpine Events supplied high-quality seating and tables, including cocktail table rentals for mingling and banquet table rentals for formal seating. Since February evenings can be chilly, Alpine Events provided powerful 230,000 BTU tent heaters and propane tanks, ensuring guests remained warm throughout the night. Fire safety kits and strategically placed fire extinguishers were also included to prioritize safety while enhancing comfort.

To maintain a magical outdoor ambiance, Alpine Events installed market string lights and light boxes with posts, casting a warm and inviting glow over the event space. These elements not only added a touch of charm but also ensured that guests could navigate the venue safely and comfortably.

A key highlight of the evening was the entertainment segment, and Alpine Events set the scene with a professional-grade stage rental. The 4’ x 8’ stage sections, accompanied by stage skirting and steps with handles, provided the perfect platform for speeches, performances, and event presentations.

Alpine Events managed the full event rental process with precision, from early-morning delivery and setup on February 21st to a timely pickup on February 22nd.
