A Sailcloth Tent Rental Wedding on Lake Macatawa in Holland, MI

Hosted at a private residence, the event transformed the natural beauty of the location into a picture-perfect setting with sailcloth tents, elegant seating, custom lighting, and carefully curated tabletop rentals.
A Picturesque Ceremony by the Water
The ceremony was nothing short of magical, with guests seated in Bentwood Chair Rentals arranged in rows overlooking the lake. The ceremony space was designed for both intimacy and grandeur. The bold florals. gentle rustling of the trees and the reflection of the water created a serene, romantic atmosphere, making the moment even more special.
A Sailcloth Tent Reception Under the Stars
For the reception, a 44′ x 64′ sailcloth tent was the crown jewel of the evening. Known for its graceful peaks and flowing fabric, this tent added a touch of classic sophistication while allowing guests to enjoy an open-air feel. The tent was illuminated with market lighting, strategically placed along each interior leg to create a warm, inviting ambiance as the sun set over the lake.
The tables were adorned with silver-rimmed china, Prism water goblets, and Chateau Flatware Collection, enhancing the upscale feel of the evening.
A 6’ rectangular white bar served as the reception’s centerpiece for drinks and cocktail service, ensuring that guests were treated to a seamless experience.
A Dedicated Dance Tent for an Unforgettable Evening
The celebration continued in a separate 32′ x 52′ sailcloth dance tent, designed to keep the energy high throughout the night. The tent featured a 12′ x 24′ custom-wrapped white dance floor, giving the space a sleek and polished look. The stage, measuring 12′ x 24′ and carpeted in white, provided the perfect setting for speeches, live music, and entertainment.
A black rectangular chandelier, specially custom-painted in Benjamin Moore’s ‘Blue Heather’, hung from the center pole, adding a personal and stylish touch to the space.
A Thoughtfully Designed Event Space
Beyond the main reception and dance areas, a dedicated catering tent ensured that food service ran smoothly. The tent was equipped with banquet tables for prep, propane grills, beverage dispensers, and additional market lighting to create a fully functional space for the catering team.
In addition to the thoughtful planning of the ceremony and reception, cocktail tables and bistro tables were strategically placed around the venue, allowing guests to mingle comfortably throughout the night.
