Wedding Reception Rentals at Bissell Tree House in Grand Rapids, MI

Alpine Events provided rental essentials for a stunning fall wedding reception at the Bissell Tree House at John Ball Zoo. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and warm wood interiors, this Grand Rapids venue offered a natural backdrop that paired beautifully with a rich, jewel-toned table design.

A Strong Foundation with Black Chiavari Chairs

The reception & ceremony space was build around by our Black Chiavari Chair Rentals with matching black pads, creating a sleek and cohesive seating design throughout the room. The classic silhouette of the Chiavari chair added structure and sophistication, while the black finish tied seamlessly into the flatware and overall color palette.

Against the Tree House’s wood-paneled interior, the black seating provided contrast and helped frame each round table beautifully.

A Rich, Modern Tablescape

The reception tables featured a bold and elevated color palette. Deep burgundy linens created a dramatic foundation, while vibrant peacock napkin rental added a fresh pop of contrast at each place setting.

Each guest setting included:

The clean lines of the white square china balanced the depth of the burgundy linen, while matte black flatware reinforced the modern aesthetic. Clear goblets added dimension without distracting from the overall palette.

With round guest tables thoughtfully spaced throughout the Tree House, the layout allowed the bold color combination to stand out against the venue’s natural wood paneling and expansive windows. The contrast between the structured tabletop elements and the organic surroundings created a refined yet inviting atmosphere.
