On October 5, 2025, Alpine Events had the opportunity to provide wedding tent and reception rentals for a beautiful celebration at Felt Mansion in Holland, Michigan. With its historic charm and expansive lawn, the property created the perfect backdrop for a thoughtfully designed outdoor reception.

This event combined a classic black-and-white aesthetic with functional elements designed for guest comfort—showcasing how the right rental selections can completely transform an outdoor space.

Black & White Checker Dance Floor

A standout feature of the reception was our 16’ x 20’ Black & White Checker Dance Floor Rental. Positioned beneath the tent, this bold flooring choice created a striking focal point and anchored the reception layout.

The clean contrast of the checker pattern paired beautifully with the surrounding historic architecture, offering a timeless yet dramatic design element that naturally drew guests to the dance space.

Stage Installation

To elevate key reception moments, five Wenger 4’ x 8’ stage sections were installed, creating a dedicated platform for formalities and entertainment. Staging adds dimension to a tented reception and ensures visibility for speeches and special dances.

Black Chiavari Chair Rentals

For guest seating, 147 Black Chiavari Chair Rentals with matching black pads were arranged in a ballroom-style layout.

Coordinating chair layout, pad placement, and teardown allows couples and planners to stay focused on the celebration rather than logistics.

Greenery Chandelier Installation

The client supplied a pre-assembled greenery chandelier, and our crew handled the installation and removal inside the tent structure. Suspended elements like chandeliers introduce visual interest overhead and help define the reception space within a larger tent footprint.
