How Alpine Events Helped Bring RowFest 2025 to Life in Ypsilanti, Michigan

Earlier this summer, RowFest 2025 returned to Ford Lake Park in Ypsilanti for a week of championship racing, drawing athletes and spectators from across the country. In partnership with the USRowing,  Ann Arbor Sports Commission, Eastern Michigan University, and Ypsilanti Township, RowFest—one of the nation’s largest rowing community events—hosted races at the brand new course on Ford Lake, while community programming, learning opportunities, and social events took place throughout Ypsilanti Township and the greater Ann Arbor area.

Alpine Events was proud to support the event with a full range of rental infrastructure designed to meet the needs of athletes, officials, vendors, and visitors.

Building a Championship-Caliber Setup

From July 8 through July 21, our team managed delivery, setup, and teardown for multiple zones throughout the park. Here’s how it came together:

Medical & Control Areas

We provided three 10×10 high peak tent rentals for medical and commission staff, along with sidewalls, tables, and padded seating to keep essential operations running smoothly.

Referee, Registration, and Media Headquarters

The 40×60 Navi-Trac Structure Tent Rental served as the central hub. It featured flooring, solid and windowed sidewalls, climate control, double doors, and full furnishings. Banner structures supported sponsor signage and event branding throughout the area.

Marketplace and Vendor Tents

Two 20×60 frame tent rentals housed the merchandise and marketplace spaces. They were fully enclosed, each furnished with 20 six-foot banquet table rentals and custom pipe and drape systems for a clean vendor layout.

USRowing Registration and Announcer Areas

Two 20×20 frame tent rentals were set up for registration and event announcing, complete with A/C units, full enclosures, tables, and padded chairs to support both work and broadcast needs.

Athlete Clubhouse and Cooling Stations

We installed a 40×40 frame tent rental as a dedicated rest area for athletes, outfitted with portable evaporative cooling systems, tables, and signage for a functional recovery zone.

Finish Line Infrastructure

The finish line featured a three-level raised scaffolding structure paired with a 20×20 frame tent rental, power distribution, and banner support for officials and announcers.

Sitewide Support

Across the venue, we delivered over 50 table rentals, 100+ white folding resin chair rentals, black linen rentals, speaker systems, and more. With three delivery trucks on rotation, our crew ensured timely arrivals and efficient setup across all zones.
